Partial Solar Eclipse as seen in Los Altos Hills
An eclipse of the Sun occurred in April 2024. The track of the "total" eclipse did not pass over California, however a "partial eclipse" could be seen from our part of the State.
Below is a composite image created from the array of photos taken by town resident Glen Schofield during that eclipse. He was standing at the corner of Berkshire and West Loyola, and took a series
of photographs which are assembled here in the sequence they were taken.
