On Sunday afternoon October 15th, 2017, under perfect weather conditions, The vintners of Los Altos Hills brought their wines to a tasting at Town Hall.
The event was held from 2-5 pm around the Heritage Oak Tree at the Los Altos Hills Town Hall, approximately 300 people attended. All wines were either grown in Los Altos Hills or made in Los Altos Hills. There are over 112 micro-vineyards in the Hills. (Fastest growing enterprise in the town...) Twenty-four vintners participated, sharing their wines, none of which are available commercially. (These Vintners are not bonded to sell.) The attendees all seemed to enjoy the event hugely and encouraged the organizers to make it happen again. Hills 2000 - Friends of the Hills were pleased to sponsor this wine event for the fifth time. The attendees enjoyed discovering the marvelous oenological offerings that Los Altos Hills harbors within its borders. Some pictures taken at that occasion... |
